Telehandler Certification

More of a crane than a rough terrain forklift, the telescopic-handler or more commonly known “Zoom Boom” allows operators to lift and traverse loads not only upwards but outwards. Thus introducing operators to new hazards such as blindspots and a rapidly diminishing load capacity as the load is traversed. The use of outriggers to stabilize the unit adds a whole new dimension of physics otherwise unknown to a typical lift truck operator. These topics, along with the core fundamentals of regulation, operation and pre use inspection are all covered in this on site telehandler training course. Finally, each participant will have to complete an operational test to acquire their telehandler certification.
